What could be the reason why the "Intercontinental Science Quiz Net" and the "Mathematics for the Young Asians" contest where Faye won honors were not publicized by the sponsors? My search for them in the Internet had proved futile.

Why is there a repeated and consistent attempt to put down Jasmine Trias (just her, by name), the American Idol finalist who was lionized all over town and received by President Arroyo.

I am not aware that there is such an attempt to put down Jasmine and I do not think that Patricia’s article was meant to score political points against the government.

Ang hinala ko ay mas tinangka pa nilang I-descredit ang kumampi kay Patricia at sabihing peke si Faye. Isang tao lang ang gumawa nito, lagot na ang istorya.

Sa halip sanang ganito ang ginawa ay hinanap si Faye at saka ibinigay ang dapat na pagbigay ng karangalan sa kaniya.

Did she hear the story from someone else, and can you please find out where she got the story? Perhaps you and other people like myself will then be able to strengthen our belief in Faye or disbelief in the story re Faye.

If she had read Patricia's article then she would know that the latter wrote that she got the story from the paid ad of the Bread of Life Ministries.

She was bitter not because of Jasmine Trias but how Faye was unrecognized for her achievement.
