NAKAKABALIW, NAKAKAALIW

Dear Mouse,

Gusto kong kumanta sa inis, sa saya, sa takot, sa pagtataka.

Samahan ninyo si Pusa.

NAKAKABALIW, NAKAKAALIW NAKAKATAKA, NAKAKASUKA NAKAKAGULO, NAKAKABOBO NAKAKALOKO,NAKAKAUTO

NAKAKAGALIT, NAKAKAINIS NAKAKAPIKON,NAKAKASIPON NAKAKASAYA, NAKAKANTA NAKAKATAKOT, pakalmot nga.

2.SENATOR Manuel Roxas 2nd called Monday for a thorough scrutiny of a Malacañang order that quietly but effectively allowed the government’s assumption of P200 billion of the debts of the National Power Corp. (Napocor). http://www.manilatimes.net/national/2004/ oct/19/yehey/top_stories/20041019top10.html

NAKAKALOKO,NAKAKAUTO ang gobyerno

3. The government-owned power firm got the ire of senators recently after a public hearing showed the extent of its financial miseries. It is losing P115 billion a year. It paid P12 billion for the retirement of its officials and employees, a number of whom it rehired and gave higher posts and salaries. This caused Sen. Ralph Recto to charge that government-owned and -controlled corporations were being used as milking cows and not as service providers.source: Manilatimes

4.We are left far behind. The recent qualifying tests given by the Department of Education for Grade VI and Fourth Year high school students yielded the most dismal results.Less than 3 percent of those who took the tests scored a passing grade. The majority hovered near the bottom.

If this is how bad our educational system is, how come we have these news?

US to hire more Pinoy teachers

By Mayen JaymalinThe Philippine Star 10/18/2004

More Filipino teachers and other skilled workers are to be hired in the United States soon despite differences between the Philippines and the US over the conflict in Iraq. American employers will arrive in the country in the coming weeks to personally screen a long list of teachers applying for vacancies in US schools.

China is thinking of engaging Filipino teachers of English, while South Korean students come here for month-long tutoring in English.

NAKAKAGULO, NAKAKABOBO, hindi ko malaman ang totoo.

5.The awards Marikina city garnered from WHO mean that the city is making great strides towards making the city more livable for its residents. The Fernandos are largely credited for turning the former "rape capital" into a sparkling and vibrant city.

"If WHO is just looking for the healthiest city, I think the awards should go to Singapore. But what WHO is really looking for are the improvements that have taken place," the mayor said.

Miyaw.
