People reprimanding Patricia Evangelista to be reckless in writing the article about Faye are committing the same transgression.

This is roc's opinion.He is entitled to it.

I got my own opinion too. I am also entitled to it.

For your information, Sir, according to the live interview with the mother and daughter by Luchi Cruz, a respected TV journalist, the mother’s name is Catherine San Juan- a former teacher and is now pursuing a Nursing degree.

I do not see irresponsibility on the part of Patiricia Evangelista. First, she was honest to say that she got the story from a paid ad published in the newspapers.Hers is not investigative journalism. It was a reaction from what she read just like any of us or other writers normally do.If Faye was just a product of her rich imagination and she passed it off as true, then that is entirely another story.

Used a fake credit card to buy her airline ticket?

You see, sir, this is what I call exaggeration but the mother's explanation on how they were able to secure their tickets is believable.

The mother said that the tickets for their trips were bought from the money that their relatives,church members and friends contributed. Coming home,they bought the tickets from the prize money, since they lost some of their belongings to that Filipino woman.

The Effect of Ionizing Radiation on the Philippine Fruit Fly. Very intersting indeed. The country might just be able to export every fruit it grows to anywhere in the world if she can irradiate the fruit fly bacteria. Common,(sic) publish the darn thesis!

Faye admitted that it was an old thesis of her mother that she used by evaluating the findings and add some new information. In thesis writing, this is acceptable.It may sound incredible for a 12 year old but this is exactly the reason why we call these children special like the 20-year old Pinoy who graduated law from Harvard.

We have to face the truth that majority of the theses , feasibility studies, business plans written are only good in papers . It is not because, the findings are not valid and feasible but commercial production may not be viable.Besides, validity of the thesis depends on the scope and delimitations set by the researcher.

How many research papers on harnessing energy from ocean water have been discussed and presented by scientists, Filipinos and foreigners alike in international forums ? Have they ever come into fruition?

A few years ago, a study on sexual behavior of (am not sure of the animal)was conducted by an American lady researcher for six years. Her finding was not conclusive, so she asked for more funding and more time.

So why do some international organizations conduct contests about researches, papers and what have you. My theory,Mr. Watson, is to get new ideas.

As to why there is no record in the Sydney immigration for their departure, I am not sure with Australia's policy on exit, but here in the States, we do not go to immigration for exit. Could they check their port of entry ?

patricia evangelista is a teeny bopper feel good columnist in the lifestyle section. yeah her assumptions are quite vague without further proof. i just dont like the praise and "hero treatment" given to faye. what if her story is just a scam to get more donations

As far as I know, she is not asking for donations. She was not also given praise and Hero treatment. My advise. See an eye doctor.

Learn how to verify your sources first before printing them on a big-time national newspaper such as the Philippine Star, will you? Stupid ignorant b****!!!
