They all need shrinks and nails

Dear Mouse,

According to Sassy,

"Every person aspiring for public office--elective or appointive--must be subjected to, and pass, such a test. Plus a sound psychological test to prove that he is not, and had no propensity towards, megalomania."

Not only megalomania, C.

But also a test to measure their maturity levels. It seemed that most of our candidates have emotional quotients that are lower than their waist lines.

Just take a look at this news:

(I got to publish the excerpt in my commentaries para dating intellectual din.)

Pamatong stops traffic with spikes

Pamatong, in a radio interview, said he believed scattering metal spikes on major roads in Metro Manila, Baguio, Davao, Cagayan, Bicol and Laguna was for the "good of the country."

He clarified that the attack was not meant to kill or hurt anyone, but simply to call the attention of government officials to stop being corrupt.

Ah ganon? Ah ganon?

Pamatong apologized to vehicle owners whose tires were punctured by the metal spikes, and asked them to demand remuneration from the "crooks in government."

>"I know some people could have met an accident and could have died in the process, but I hope you’ll understand that before I did this I wrote to" Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief Gen. Narciso Abaya and Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Hermogenes Ebdane Jr., "asking them to... be the protector of the people but they are protecting the crooks and comedians... the aliens controlling the government," he said.

EQ= zero.

LEGARDA

"The fight is not over yet. It just moved over to the joint Congress," Sen. Loren Legarda told a press forum. Legarda was the running mate of opposition candidate Fernando Poe Jr.

Why can't they emulate some US politicians who concede and offer to help to administration after the winners are proclaimed.

We are paying the Senators and Congressmen not to amuse us. That is what entertainment people are for.

Asked what would happen after Congress had approved the committee's final report, Pimentel said: "Ultimately, the implication is that the majority will have succeeded in ramming down our throats a flawed report that is untrue, which is not based on the truth which we wanted to emerge."

"We will see how the people will accept that," he said.

Hello, Mr. Pimentel. If people were disilussioned by the result of the election, their silence and nonparticaption in mass actions indicate that it is not worth fighting for.

Aray.....

Nagtatago na as of this time si Eli Pumako matapos nyang i-admit on nationwide TV na sya nga ang me kagagawan ng pambubutas ng mga gulong. Don't you just love the Filipino psyche? We are the worst losers in the world. He never ran in the elections and yet, observe his bitterness when he scattered those deadly nails in EDSA, Roxas Blvd., and Kennon Road in Baguio City. Ibang klase ano? Deadly yung spikes. No vulcanizing can restore damaged tires --- you have to buy new ones, which can really put some huge hole in your pockets. Grrrr talaga!!!

Parang, feeling ko, just like the bombs (na uniform daw lahat) the government seems to be finding everywhere, IISA LANG ang may gawa n'yan lahat. Gobyerno.

kakatuwa si Pamatong ano? Last night, habang ako'y agaw antok sa harap ng tv, he claims daw that he has some sort of an army that protects him. It turned out, these are old people na ang hawak hawak ay yantok at kung anu-anong pamalo.

That guy will do everything to gain media mileage.
According to some people I know, Pamatong used to publish tabloid in the US to promote his immigration
law office and other "activities".
