Larry Alcala and the Day after Election

Dear Mouse,

We just loved Larry Alcala's slice of life and one with the title menagerie. We tried beating one another in finding Larry's "faces" in the sea of characters that he used to satirize the Filipinos' culture, politics and religion.

One that was forever etched in my memory was a family watching some guys putting up a cloth banner for a candidate and the next frame was showing the banner gone and the members of the family were walking with their new clothes sewn out of the banner.

If he were alive today, this is what i would like him to draw:
1. Fernando Poe and supporters marching in victory with Binay as the majorette of the band.
2. A man with several watchdogs filing a complaint of electioneering against GMA.

3. a lawyer with Kabayan's photo in his attache case watching the screen where Legarda's face was showing a victory smile.

4. Comelec's office... where the chairman is surrounded by protesters and there is a standby ambulance with IV and life saving devices.

5. Namfrel's office where couriers dressed in costumes of turtle ninjas were handing the copies of election results.

6. candidates' loyalists fighting each other while the AMA, ABS CBN and what have/else/operation quick count tally boards show different candidates leading.

7.A Kris look-alike holding two cell phones,one is for texting a Joey Marquez look-alike ( he needed a shoulder to cry on. He already conceded)and one is for texting a Mark Lapid-llok-alike, he is at the bottom three.

8. A Korina look alike smiling ear to ear in a show entitled "The Morning GirlsAfter" holding a poster of a Mar Roxas-look alike with a big number one.

9. a voting precinct where counting is in progress. Pollwatchers are holding candles while one kid was lighting up a bunch of papers with the candle. Mwahahaha

10. A race track where two horses mounted by the jockeys wearing shirts emblazoned with a smiling Gloria Macapagal, and a stressed Fernando Poe. A dark horse bearing the banner of Ping Lacson is running third. A jockey wearing floral shirt stopped by to smell roses and the fifth jockey was with hands outstretched mimicking the pose of Nora Aunor when she was shouting Walang Himala.

11. Ahem, I would like also to see Alcala's familiar face holding a CA t.

Aray, huwag naman ninyo akong batuhin. May karapatan din akong magpantasya no?
